1. Using the website

These terms apply to venturecaterpillar.com, operated as Venture Caterpillar (“we”, “us” or “our”), including the Arcade, player accounts, rewards, content and store. Please read them before creating an account, submitting a reward claim or placing an order. A separate written agreement for creative services governs that project’s specific scope, fees and deliverables.

The Arcade is an entertainment and community project. Guest play is available for practice. Reward participation requires an account, verified email, the legal capacity to agree to these terms and the age of majority where you live. Participation must be lawful in your location.

Use accurate account information, keep your password private and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person or use multiple accounts to evade reward limits or restrictions. You are responsible for activity you authorize; this does not make you automatically responsible for a security failure outside your control.

No purchase, token holding, deposit or wager is required to play or earn eligible Arcade rewards. Your own internet and device costs may apply. Do not send funds, private keys or a seed phrase to unlock rewards.

2. Arcade & VC rewards

Only eligible official games and verified runs qualify. Sign in and verify your email before starting a reward run. Guest sessions and workshop levels are practice only. Completing a game does not automatically approve a reward: the server checks gameplay and claims are reviewed.

Rewards are subject to the available program reserve, verification and published eligibility rules. They are not unlimited. New games may have different reward rules, which will be shown before eligible play. Future changes to limits or rates apply prospectively; they do not rewrite the rules for a valid claim already earned.

What Member Stats means

• Pending VC: submitted rewards awaiting review. They cannot be withdrawn and may be declined if invalid or ineligible.
• Approved VC: your available approved balance. Approval records a program reward; it is not yet a transfer to your wallet.
• Reserved VC: approved VC set aside for an active withdrawal request. It is unavailable for a second request. If a request is rejected, the reserved amount returns to the available balance unless the underlying reward is found invalid.
• Total VC earned: lifetime approved rewards, including amounts already withdrawn, plus currently pending rewards. It is not your available withdrawal balance.
• Cashout progress: available approved VC divided by the current cashout target. Pending and reserved VC do not count. Reaching 100% does not bypass review or a withdrawal pause.

Fair play & review

Do not use bots, automated farming, forged or replayed gameplay submissions, score manipulation, exploited bugs or coordinated accounts to bypass the rules. Do not interfere with other players or site security. Report problems to admin@venturecaterpillar.com.

We may hold claims for investigation, decline ineligible runs, correct duplicate or erroneous credits, and restrict accounts involved in abuse. An automated flag can trigger a review; it is not conclusive proof of cheating. If you disagree with a decision, contact us with your username and relevant run or request details. We will review the available records and explain the outcome, subject to security and privacy limits.

3. Withdrawals & token risks

“Cashout” on this site means requesting a transfer of approved VC tokens to a supported wallet. It does not mean payment in dollars, a guaranteed cash value or a promise that we will buy your tokens.

When withdrawals are open, requests are made through Player Account and reviewed manually. You must meet the current minimum using available approved VC and supply a Bitcoin mainnet Taproot receiving address beginning with bc1p from a wallet that supports the relevant Rune. A valid-looking Bitcoin address alone does not establish Rune compatibility. Check the address and wallet support carefully.

Only one withdrawal request may be pending at a time. Processing is not instant and has no guaranteed completion date. Requests may be delayed or paused for account review, reserve availability, maintenance, stale fee or price estimates, high Bitcoin network fees, or legal requirements. Check the Arcade and Player Account for the current status; reaching the target does not guarantee immediate delivery.

The program currently covers the Bitcoin network fee for approved transfers. If that policy changes, any charge must be disclosed before you submit a new request. You will not be asked for a deposit or seed phrase to release a reward. Once broadcast, blockchain transfers generally cannot be reversed. We cannot recover tokens sent to an incorrect address you supplied or through an unsupported wallet, subject to any responsibility the law places on us.

Participation does not give you ownership in Venture Caterpillar, a share of its profits or employment. Announcements and future plans are not guarantees of results. Nothing in these terms determines or overrides the legal classification of a token or program. Website information is general and is not personalized financial, investment, legal or tax advice.

You are responsible for assessing and meeting tax obligations that apply to your rewards and transactions. Keep your own records and seek qualified advice where needed. See the Canada Revenue Agency’s cryptoasset guidance for Canadian tax information.

4. Store, returns & refunds

Venture Caterpillar is a small independent project offering merchandise, including limited edition socks. Review the product description, sizing, price, currency, shipping charges and delivery information shown for your order before paying. Contact us promptly if an order detail is wrong.

Our voluntary policy is that sales are final, except for items that arrive damaged or defective. We do not offer change-of-mind returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, incorrect sizing, used or worn items, sale items or gift orders. These exclusions do not remove rights you have under applicable law.

If an item arrives damaged, defective or different from your order, email admin@venturecaterpillar.com with your order number and, where reasonably possible, a photo. Please contact us promptly, ideally within 7 days of delivery, so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate remedy. This requested reporting period does not shorten a statutory deadline or exclude a defect discovered later.

Do not mail a return without contacting us for instructions. If a return is needed or required by law, we will provide the appropriate instructions. Any legally required cancellation, replacement, refund or remedy, including rights concerning non-delivery or misleading descriptions, takes priority over this voluntary policy.

5. Privacy Policy

This section explains how personal information is handled across the website, Arcade and store. Our privacy contact is admin@venturecaterpillar.com.

Information used to provide the service

• Accounts: usernames, email addresses, authentication records, verification status and account settings.
• Arcade: gameplay inputs, timing, scores, verification results, reward balances, claim history, review records and withdrawal requests.
• Transfers: receiving wallet addresses, amounts and transaction identifiers.
• Orders: names, contact and delivery details, items purchased, order history and payment transaction information handled through checkout and its payment providers.
• Support and technical records: messages you send us and records such as IP addresses, browser or device information, cookies and security logs generated when you use the service.

We use this information to provide accounts and gameplay, verify claims, prevent fraud and abuse, administer transfers, fulfil orders, respond to requests, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Please do not send private keys, seed phrases, passwords or full payment-card details in support messages.

Service providers & public records

Providers involved in hosting, email, payment processing, fulfilment, shipping and site security receive information needed for their services. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or permitted to address fraud, protect rights or respond to a valid legal request. Providers may process information outside your province or Canada, where different laws may apply.

External links, embedded media and third-party services have their own privacy practices. Follow their notices when using them. A blockchain transfer makes its address, amount and transaction record publicly visible and potentially linkable to other activity. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted by closing your site account.

Cookies & communications

Cookies and similar storage support sign-in sessions, security, preferences and shopping carts. Embedded services may use additional cookies under their own notices. You can control cookies in your browser and through any consent controls presented on the site; blocking necessary cookies may prevent accounts or checkout from working. Where consent is legally required for optional tracking, it must be obtained separately; this policy is not a substitute for that consent.

Promotional updates are sent only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe. Account verification, security, order and reward messages are service communications and are separate from marketing consent.

Retention, security & your choices

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes and applicable legal, accounting, security or dispute requirements. Records used to make decisions about you may need to be retained for a legally required review period. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Contact us to request access, correction, account closure, deletion or withdrawal of consent, or to raise a privacy complaint. We may need reasonable identity verification and will respond within applicable legal timelines. Requests are subject to lawful exceptions and retention requirements; deletion may not include required transaction or dispute records or public blockchain data. Withdrawing necessary consent may prevent us from continuing a requested service. You may also contact the privacy regulator responsible for your location, including the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

6. Content, conduct & availability

Website branding, games, artwork, video, text and software may be protected by intellectual property rights held by us or their respective owners. You may use the site’s intended features for lawful personal enjoyment. Do not copy, redistribute, sell or misrepresent protected material without permission, except as allowed by law or an applicable licence. Do not upload unlawful material, harass others, distribute malware or attempt unauthorized access.

Games and services may contain errors or be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems or events beyond our reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or that a future feature will launch. Third-party links are provided for convenience and do not guarantee or endorse their services.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses and speculative lost profits arising from use of the free Arcade or reliance on future plans. This does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not limit mandatory consumer remedies, privacy rights or obligations concerning valid approved rewards.

7. Changes, disputes & contact

We may update these terms as the site changes and will show the revised date here. Material changes affecting reward participation will be communicated through the site or account contact details before they apply to future participation, except where urgent security or legal requirements require an immediate change. We will seek renewed agreement where required by law.

Changes do not retroactively remove valid approved rewards, alter completed orders or waive accrued legal rights. If we pause or end the rewards program, we will explain how existing eligible balances and requests will be handled; ending the program alone does not make valid approved balances disappear. Corrections for invalid, duplicate or fraudulent claims remain subject to the review process above. You can ask to close your account by email; closure does not automatically forfeit rights relating to valid approved rewards.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and applicable Canadian federal law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing here requires private arbitration, waives a class proceeding where permitted by law, or prevents access to an appropriate court, tribunal or regulator. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
